Kathy Magnuson was a member of the group that helped found the Minnesota Women's Press in 1984. Before that, she worked at the Park Bugle, a non-profit community newspapers. For all but a few years, Magnuson has worked at the Women's Press, which covers issues from women's perspectives. She is currently co-publisher. This interview was conducted in the newspaper's Raymond Avenue office in St. Paul on Jan. 20, 2011.
